Civil War flag procession returns banners to Michigan Capitol after renovations

LANSING — Descendants of Michigan Civil War soldiers and supporters carry their replica battle flags after a ceremony held at Heritage Hall Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024.

Eighty replica Civil War Battle Flags are now back on display in the Capitol rotunda, where they can be seen by visitors.
